Understanding your solar generation: a solar system can generate a significant amount of electricity over
a typical 60-day billing cycle. Figures assume approx. 4.5 units per kW per day. The actual generation depends on
sunlight, weather, roof orientation, shading and overall system performance.
* Bill value is what that many units would cost on TNEB domestic slab rates for one 60-day cycle
(energy charge only, excluding fixed charges).

A 2 kW solar system can typically generate approximately 9 units per day — around 540 units over a typical 60-day electricity billing cycle. This level of generation can substantially offset electricity consumption for a home with a suitable load and usage pattern.

Solar finance may be available starting from around 6% interest for eligible customers. The final rate, tenure, processing fee and approved amount are determined by the respective bank or financial institution and depend on the applicable scheme and your eligibility — not by us.
Finance options may be available through banks including State Bank of India (SBI) and Canara Bank. Other eligible finance options may also be available depending on the applicable scheme and customer eligibility.
We assist eligible customers in exploring suitable solar finance and EMI options through participating banks and financial institutions. The application, approval and terms remain between you and the lender.
Usually you will still have some applicable electricity charges — the EB fixed or service charge, and charges for any units you consume from the grid beyond what your solar covers. The point of solar EMI is that the larger part of your consumption charge is replaced by a payment that eventually ends.
